Minister of Communication and Information Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha is scheduled on August 5 to participate in the G20 Digital Economy Ministers Meeting under Italian presidency in Trieste. The meeting will discuss several subjects related to digital economy and government digital transformation in preparation for the final communique of leaders of the digital economy that will be endorsed by heads of state and government in the Rome Summit. This meeting is an extension for the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during its G20 presidency in 2020, during which it focused on seizing the 21st century by all through empowering mankind, protecting earth and forming new horizons. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during digital economy minister meetings, has realized qualitative achievements, mainly the unanimous approval of countries on a roadmap to measure and define the digital economy, in addition to adopting artificial intelligence principles related to mankind.
