Kuwait has strongly condemned the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's continued threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's security and interests, by targeting one of Saudi commercial ships with a drone and another to Khamis Mushait City. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that the continuation of these aggressive practices and escalation does not only target the security of the Kingdom and the stability of the region, but also the safety of maritime navigation and international trade and constitute a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law, which requires the international community to make a decisive and swift move to hold the perpetrators of these attacks accountable. The Ministry reiterated Kuwait's full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty.
