The Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah met, virtually, today, with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development Samantha Power. At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabeeah briefed his guest on KSrelief's humanitarian and relief projects, amounting to 1,686 in 69 countries around the world, with a total value of $ 5.334 billion, of which Yemen acquired the largest share, in addition to efforts exerted to address the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic globally. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of volunteer programs, exchange experiences and build capacity in humanitarian work. Also discussed, were ways to support countries in need, especially Yemen, to improve living conditions of those affected and alleviate their suffering. For his part, Power praised the strategic partnership between KSrelief and the agency, noting the great humanitarian efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the KSrelief, in various countries of the world, stressing that KSrelief's work targeted vital and important sectors of most vulnerable groups.
