The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that severe temperature is forecasted in northeast, along with continuation of moderate to torrential thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds on the regions of Jazan and Asir and opportunity for thunderstorms over the heights of Najran, Al-Baha and Makkah, while active dusty winds on Riyadh and Qassim regions and some parts of Northern Borders Region, as well as on the coasts of Makkah and Madinah regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea today will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 18-45 km/h. The report also showed that the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf today will be northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h.
