King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) handed over medical aid, including 53 ventilators, 2,331,700 surgical masks, protective clothing, masks, medical gloves and other preventive supplies to the Republic of Uruguay to combat the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). On behalf of the KSrelief, Acting Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in the Republic of Uruguay Dr. Raed bin Abdulaziz Al-Harqan handed over the aid to Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Supervision of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uruguay Pablo Picabea in Montevideo. Dr. Al-Harqan said that this aid was provided based on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and pioneering role towards the Republic of Uruguay. This comes within the framework of the aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to support the international efforts to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
