Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Directs KSrelief to Urgently Provide Malaysia with Medical, Preventive Equipment and Supplies to Address COVID-19 Pandemic
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to urgently provide the Kingdom of Malaysia with medical, preventive equipment, and supplies to address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This came in response to the request of the Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hishammuddin Hussein, during his call with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. The Adviser at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah in a statement, stressed that the royal directive comes as an affirmation of the humanitarian role being played by Saudi Arabia towards the countries most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the depth of the solid relations that bind the two sisterly countries. Dr. Al Rabeeah explained that the aid includes providing 1,000,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, medical devices, care and treatment devices, preventive supplies, and other medical needs. Dr. Al Rabeeah extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince for this gesture, which confirms the leadership's keenness to support sisterly countries around the world in various crises and circumstances.
