Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Hajj Supreme Committee, stressed that the efforts exerted by the security sectors and government and private agencies during this year's Hajj season contribute to achieving the levels of security and safety aimed to protect the pilgrims in this exceptional season which witnesses ongoing repercussions of the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus pandemic. This came during his follow-up to the movement of the pilgrims who made their way from Arafat to Muzdalifah, at the Unified Security Operations Center (911) in the Makkah Region. During his tour of the center this evening, the interior minister inspected the preparations of the security and government authorities to carry out their missions as per the approved plans and regulations for this year's Hajj season. Earlier today, the minister inspected the progress at the Security Forces Hospital in Makkah, and the preparations of the medical services at the Ministry of Interior including the deployment of field medical teams, to provide comprehensive health care for the employees of the Ministry of Interior and the security sectors at the sites of carrying out their duties in Makkah and the holy sites.
