The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Dr. Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the victims of the floods sustained by her country. In his cable, the King said: "We are grieved on the news of the devastating floods that hit your country, resulting in deaths and missing persons. As we share Your Excellency, the families of the deceased and your friendly people, the pain of this affliction, let us hope that the missing would return safely, and your friendly country never incur any harm."
