Dr. Ayman bin Saleh Fadel, Chairman of the Saudi side of the Saudi-Senegalese Parliamentary Friendship Committee, an affiliate of the Shura Council, held a virtual meeting today with the Senegalese-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Senegalese Parliament, chaired by the Speaker of National Assembly of Senegal, who also serves as Chairman of the Senegalese side in the Senegalese-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee Moustapha Niasse, in the presence of members of the two committees. Dr. Fadel explained the importance of such meetings in promoting joint parliamentary action between the Shura Council and the Senegalese National Assembly, stressing the depth of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. In turn, Niasse praised the well-established relations between Saudi Arabia and Senegal, stressing the importance of this meeting in establishing parliamentary cooperation between the two chambers, strengthening bilateral relations and opening new horizons. The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral work and cooperation at the level of parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Senegalese National Assembly, and activate the role of parliamentary friendship committees, in a way that contributes to supporting cooperation and joint work between the two countries.
