Acting Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed, was briefed during his inspection tour today on the latest preparations in the holy sites for Hajj in 1442 AH, particularly the reception of pilgrims. The Minister discussed special efforts to receive pilgrims and their accommodation and camps in Arafat. He as briefed on the procedures for moving to Mount Arafat and the services provided to the pilgrims in Namera Mosque and Muzdalifah. Then, the Minister headed to Mina and inspected the services provided for pilgrims during their stay, in addition to flowing pilgrims from their places of residence to the Jamarat Bridge and providing services that would enable pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease, and applying all health procedures requirements to maintain the safety of the pilgrims and those who serve them. At the end of the tour, the Minister said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince, is keen to hold Hajj, by following the highest health standards and precautionary measures to preserve the safety of pilgrims.
