Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met today in Brindisi, Italy, with the Assistant Director General for Emergencies Response at the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Ibrahima Socé Fall, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the G20 on humanitarian cases. During the meeting, they reviewed strategic partnership between the two organizations as well as the great role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, in providing various health programs to countries in need. The Assistant Director General praised the humanitarian efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the important role it plays in partnership with international organizations, especially WHO. He also stressed that this partnership has contributed to alleviating the suffering of many peoples around the world. KSrelief has implemented 21 projects in many countries, in partnership with the WHO. The projects include providing assistance in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, combating epidemics, providing basic nutrition services for children and improving access to water service, at a total cost of more than USD 141 million.
