Sheikh Khalifah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the President of the Untied Arab Emirates (UAE), has reiterated his country's condemnation of recent terror attacks perpetrated against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement to SPA on the occasion of his current visit to the Kingdom, Sheikh Khalifah said the visit embodies the existing fraternal relations between the Kingdom and the UAE. He highlighted the big strides made by the Kingdom in various developmental spheres under the wise Saudi leadership. He hoped that his talks in the Kingdom would positively contribute to further enhancing bilateral relations and serving Arab and Muslim causes. "Within the framework of the policy set by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, the Former President, the UAE is keen on coordination and consultation with other GCC states," Sheikh Khalifah said, adding that 'we are keen on cementing our relations with the Kingdom'. He pointed out that he will review with Saudi officials the bilateral relations as well as the latest developments at the Arab and international arenas, notably aspects of coordination for combating terror crimes in addition to the situation in Palestine and Iraq and other issues of mutual interest.
