Immunization program covered 70% of adults, second dose to be given to 50 year-age category and over, announces MoH

The Ministry of Health announced today that the immunization program against coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic has covered 70% of adult population in Saudi Arabia, as the number of doses given in more than 587 vaccination centers exceeded 16.8 million covering various health sectors in the country.
The MoH announced the launch of the second vaccine dose program, as the program will begin to cover the age category of 50 and above for those who took the first dose, starting Thursday, June 24, 2021.
