The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced the completion of linking issuing boarding passes for domestic flights for all national airlines with the health status in Tawakkalna application, so that boarding passes are issued electronically to passengers whose status in the application is (immune / immune by first dose / immune by recovery/ no record of infection). The measure is one of the initiatives supported by GACA to take advantage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's technical capabilities to improve passengers' experience, by linking the Tawakkalna system with passengers' security systems and the systems of national airlines to provide the necessary flexibility to create an easy, healthy and safe travel journey at airports and planes. This step also comes to raise the efficiency of economic and operational movement. This is in addition to applying precautionary and preventive measures recommended by the relevant committees. The initiative reflects the result of cooperation with partners from various government agencies, namely the Presidency of State Security, Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and Ministry of Health, and constructive cooperation from national airlines and ELM Company, in completing the initiative within a short period to reach the required technical development and link systems between agencies to ensure their success.
