King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed yesterday in Riyadh an agreement to implement the third phase of the project to operate the dialysis center in Dhale Governorate, Yemen. The project aims at offering hemodialysis services to beneficiaries according to health standards, localizing the services to alleviate the suffering of kidney failure patients and protect their lives, developing performance in the center through an advisory clinic, and identifying and following up on patients through a database and supporting the resilience of the health sector in Dhale. Under the agreement, KSrelief will provide items and consumables sufficient for 6,000 dialyses, and provide food meals for patients, health items, cleaning materials and sanitizers, in addition to maintenance parts for the power generator, water desalination station and pumps. KSrelief will also sign contracts with the public medical personnel and specialized, technical, administrative, engineering and public services employees, in addition to contracting a urologist, and calling medical personnel in emergencies and appointing an engineer for medical equipment. KSrelief will also rehabilitate the building and secure kidney dialysis beds, administrative equipment and spare parts, among others, so as to embark on receiving patients and offer high quality services. These efforts are in line with the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to offer medical care for patients and the injured, as well as supporting the medical sector in Yemen.
