The Islamic World Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and International Camel Organization (ICO) discussed, during a virtual meeting yesterday, aspects of cooperation and mechanisms for developing a strategic partnership in a number of camel-related cultural and traditional activities and programs as well as in the field of relevant scientific research. In a statement today, the ICESCO said that the meeting came in implementation of the agreement the two organizations signed in last April, adding that the meeting was chaired by ICO Vice President Prince Sultan bin Saud bin Mohammed and ICESCO Director-General Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik with the attendance of Prince Abdulrahman bin Khalid bin Musaed, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's representative to ICO and Mubarak Al-Swilim, the ICO Secretary General. ICESCO, ICO also discussed mechanisms of cooperation in the proposed activities and programs as well as action plans to achieve the desired objectives, the statement said.
