The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack committed by gunmen against villages and civilians in Burkina Faso resulting in many deaths and injuries. The General Secretariat offered condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Burkina Faso, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. It also reiterated its firm position against terrorism whatever its motives and causes, stressing the OIC's support for the government and people of Burkina Faso in their fight against this phenomenon.
