The Kingdom's General Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Alsheikh has condemned and deplored the terror act which targeted the US consulate in Jeddah on Monday, Dec 6, 2004. In a statement published in Jeddah-based 'Al-Madina' newspapers today, Al Alsheikh sad attacking the US consulate, throwing explosives at it, killing and frightening innocent people, and undermining stability and security run counter to the teachings of Islam, and are viewed as a gross mistake. Al Alsheikh made it clear that all persons who have legally entered the Kingdom with the permission of its rulers have the right to live in a secured and peaceful environment. He confirmed that no a Muslim scholar has ever approved such shameful and criminal acts.
