Prince Mit'eb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Military Affairs, today inspected the Guards Battalion of the National Guard's Western Sector in Jeddah and paid courtesy visits to the injured in the U.S. consulate incident. At the battalion, Prince Mit'eb met with the Commander of the battalion Colonel Mohammed Alqithami who briefed him on the plan which was strictly carried out to foil the terrorist operation on the U.S. consulate yesterday. Later, Prince Mit'eb visited King Khalid National Guard Hospital and King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah where he was reassured of the health of some of the injured in the incident who are currently under treatment at the facilities.
