The Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the continuing indiscriminate shelling by the Israeli forces in Gaza Strip, stressing that Israel commits every day a new crime against humanity that is added to its disgraceful record citing the bombing of Qatar Red Crescent building in Gaza Strip. " Bombing of the Qatari facility in Gaza, leaving many dead, injuries and heavy losses, represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and ethics of war and exposes the nature of the ugly standards that the Israeli army adheres to," said Aboul Gheit in a statement today. He pointed out that Israeli crimes against hospitals, residential areas and schools, as well as humanitarian and media institutions, are recorded and documented. He added that Israel must bear responsibility for them in accordance with the International Criminal Court, which previously declared that its mandate includes the occupied Palestinian territories.
