A host of Palestinian officials met here today with a US delegation led by Hady Amr, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Israeli-Palestinian Affairs and Press and Public Diplomacy. The meeting discussed latest political developments, ahead of which is the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people, in the occupied territories, according to Palestinian sources. It added that the officials requested the US administration to exert utmost endeavor and pressure the occupation government to, immediately, stop the aggression, stop the deportation and respect the sanctities as well as putting an end to the settlers terrorism. They also warned against the continuation of such an aggression exercised by the right-wing government aided by the settlers, as it may led to kill or destroy any hope of reviving any serious peace process conducive to a comprehensive solution, that guarantees ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the border of 1967, with Al-Quds (East Jerusalem) as its capital.
