The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered a speech to citizens, residents and all Muslims everywhere on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr for this year 1442AH. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Acting Minister of Media, delivered the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' speech as follows: "In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Praise be to Allah Almighty Who says in the Holy Quran: (To Him ascend all the goodly words, and the righteous deeds exalt it) and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet, Mohammed bin Abdullah, his family and all of his companions. Dear Sons and Daughters, Dear Citizens and Residents in our dear country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dear men and women heroes stationed in the face of risks and crises, Dear Muslims around the world, Peace be upon you, Praise be to Allah Almighty who has honored all of us to complete fasting the holy month of Ramadan. We ask Him to accept our fasting. We thank Allah Almighty for allowing us to witness the happy Eid Al-Fitr. We ask Allah Almighty to bring goodness to our nation, make the peoples of the world overcoming all ordeals and to prevail the peace around the whole world. We also ask Allah Almighty that this Eid will be an occasion to overcome the pain and to advance after the health, social and economic implications of the Coronavirus pandemic affecting the whole world in addition to be a good start for our brothers in the Arab and Islamic world and the whole world, as we are optimistic on the ongoing positive steps to achieve the stability in the Arab world, so that the security and prosperity prevail around the world. Dear Brothers and Sisters, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since its establishment by the late King Abdulaziz, has been working under the tolerant Islamic Sharia, with regard to rejecting extremism, combating terrorism and supporting brothers and friends. The Kingdom has always declared its stand by the international community in everything that serves the security of the world and the peace. Praise be to Allah Almighty who honored us in this country, as leadership and people, to serve the Two Holy Mosques and serve the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, which is a service that we are honored to do. We spare no efforts to serve them. We greatly prioritize the safety, comfort and security of the Guests of Allah. The measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government, this year, are to protect them and provide them with the highest safety standards in light of the Coronavirus crisis. We are proud of our female citizens' contribution within the Hajj and Umrah security teams. Dear Citizens and Residents, Addressing this pandemic that has befallen the world requires all of us to adhere to the health measures announced by the Ministry of Health, and to abide by the social distancing, as well as the necessity of taking the vaccinations, which will work to immunize our dear community of citizens and residents. We will continue working within the international group to confront this epidemic, affirming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian role to maintain the achievements that have been made, and to completely overcome all implications of the pandemic. Dear Brothers and Sisters, Allah Almighty has blessed us to celebrate the Eid, show joy and happiness, and to spread the spirit of love and devotion among all, as it is Eid of mercy and love, may Allah Almighty return it to the whole nation with goodness and blessings, and may Allah Almighty accept from everyone the fasting and prayers.
