This comes within the unlimited support the university education institutions is getting from the country's prudent leadership, adding to the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, as four universities occupy leading ranks two times in a row for the years 2019 and 2020 in the fields of natural sciences, biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences. Shanghai classification placed King Abdulaziz University at 101-150 among countries of the world, King Saud University 151-200 globally, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology 201-300 and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals 401. - 500 worldwide.
