Secretary General of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen has stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Mosque project at the new campus of the International Islamic University (IIU) in Islamabad is a proof of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unrivaled spiritual leadership and its high status and recognition in the Islamic world under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. Al-Othaimeen noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Mosque project in the IIU campus is a pivotal project and will have its immense contributions towards enhancing the Riyadh-Islamabad relations, adding that the project falls within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian, cultural and scientific assistance to the Islamic world. On the Saudi role in serving Islamic causes, the Secretary General said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been always playing the role of the unifying actor of the Islamic world using all possible diplomatic and political methods, adding that hosting the OIC in Jeddah next to the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah falls within this endeavor.
