Special Representative of the Pakistani Prime Minister for Middle East Affairs Sheikh Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi affirmed that the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will give a new push to the bilateral relations between the two countries. He said that this visit, which comes in response to the invitation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, reflects the depth of the existing relations between the two brotherly countries, and comes in the context of the ongoing consultations between the two countries and the two leaderships to discuss the most important and prominent developments at the regional, Arab, Islamic and international levels. He added that this visit will push the march of the joint cooperation in the right direction in order to achieve the desired interests and goals and contribute to developing the political, military, diplomatic, economic, commercial, developmental and cultural coordination and cooperation fields. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Sheikh Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that a high-level delegation is accompanying Prime Minister Imran Khan on his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that he is optimistic about this visit, and he believes that it will culminate in the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding that will contribute to advancing the bilateral relations to broader horizons of cooperation in various fields.
