Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf condemned the Israeli authorities' continued construction of settlements, displacement and evacuations of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem in the occupied Palestinian territory. Dr. Al-Hajraf pointed out the danger of the Israel's continued violations of the principles of international law and international efforts, adding that these practices still constitute a major obstacle to the revival of the peace in the Middle East region to reach a solution to the conflict. He stressed the firm position of the GCC in supporting the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.
