The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the terrorist crime that took place in Rambouillet near the French capital Paris last Friday and resulted in the stabbing to death of a French Policewoman. In a statement, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL), affirmed that the heinous crime does not represent the tolerant approach of Islam nor the human conscience, nor the French Muslim citizens who are loyal to their homeland, rather it represents the terrorist tendency of the perpetrator, expressing sympathy for the victim's family and to the French people. The statement stressed that such attacks on innocent souls are among the most horrific crimes that require the most severe punishments in Islam. The MWL renewed its steadfast stance rejecting the various forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of its source and victims, reiterating its full solidarity with the French people and its confidence in the unity of the French people in confronting these terrorist practices or anyone that tries to tamper with the unity of the society.
