The General Presidency for Grand Holy Mosque and Prophet's Holy Mosque Affairs, represented by General Administration for Coordination of Voluntary Works, recruited 791 volunteers to serve 48,816 beneficiaries of Umrah performers, visitors, and workers of the Grand Holy Mosque during the past ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. Administration's Director Khaled bin Fahd Al-Shalawi said that 339,500 Iftar (breaking-fast) meals were distributed to worshipers, Umrah performers, and workers of the Grand Holy Mosque. He pointed out that 6,961 elderly Umrah performers were served by pushing them with free carts, while the transportation service was provided for 2,355 elderly people with electric golf carts in cooperation with 10 voluntary bodies.
