Egyptian Foreign Minister Visits Congo

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry paid a visit today to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Spokesperson of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Hafez said, in a statement today, that Shoukry was received by President of Congo Félix Tshisekedi.
During their meeting, he handed over a message from the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to President Tshisekedi, the spokesperson said.
The message dealt with the current status of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and ways of promoting cooperation between Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
