Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf has underlined the importance of coordination and partnership with the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) in the endeavor to enhance digital economy and advance digital transformation in implementation of the relevant provisions in the AlUla Declaration. Al-Hajraf's remarks came during the signing ceremony of an MoU with the DCO Secretary-General Deemah Al-Yahya in Riyadh during which he commended the organization's efforts in promoting digital economy transformation. Al-Hajraf also voiced appreciation for the GCC member states' keenness on utilizing conventional and advanced technologies as per efforts to achieve digital transformation and enhance preparedness for the future digital economy competitions and the accompanying challenges, valuing the Saudi efforts in launching the initiative to establish the DCO which held its first meeting last week.
