Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has voiced utmost condemnation of the terrorist Houthi militias targeting of civilians and civilian objects in Jazan City through five ballistic missiles and four bomb-laden UAVs. The Secretary General praised the capabilities and professionalism of the Royal Saudi Air Defense that managed to intercept and destroy the ballistic missiles and UAVs, which spared civilians and civilian objects big losses. He also stressed that the attempts by terrorist Houthi militias, and those who finance them and provide them with arms, to target civilian objects that are protected under the International Humanitarian Law and the attempt to target Jazan University represent a dangerous escalation and a war crime. Dr. Al-Othaimeen also stressed OIC's support to the procedures adopted by the coalition forces to deal with the practices of the terrorist Houthi militias, in a bid to protect all civilians and civilian objects, stressing the organization's full support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in countering terrorist crimes perpetrated by those militias. He also supported all measures and procedures that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia adopts to preserve its security and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents.
