King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has implemented many relief projects in the food security and nutrition sector, as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's grant to support Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan 2020. KSrelief, in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP), supported food security in all Yemeni governorates by distributing more than 81 tons of food aid, with a value of USD 138 million. Moreover, the two entities addressed the priorities of food security and nutritional needs, at a cost of USD 40 million. In cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), KSrelief provided basic nutritional care services to reduce the mortality rate of children under five years of age, with an amount of USD 5.5 million. KSrelief also cooperated with UNICEF for preventative and life-saving nutritional intervention to address malnutrition among women and children, at a cost of USD 7.6 million.
