National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has issued the quarterly cybersecurity bulletin for the 4th quarter of 2020, as part of its efforts to raise awareness of cybersecurity among members of society, the private sector and national agencies. The bulletin is concerned with analyzing the most prominent events related to cybersecurity field at local and international levels. The quarterly cybersecurity bulletin highlighted NCA's efforts during the Kingdom Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20 and the most prominent challenges in managing cyber risks resulting from external parties. The bulletin also provided a brief on statistics and expectations about the cybersecurity industry in the medium term, in addition to cyber threats that Saudi Arabia faced during the 4th quarter of last year. The bulletin reviewed headlines related to cybersecurity around the world and cyber attacks on private sector companies in various countries of the world. The bulletin focused on a new study on the effects of COVID-19 pandemic at the level of cybersecurity. It also highlighted cyber innovations and innovative solutions to cybersecurity challenges.
