First Lady of The Gambia Fatoumatta Bah Barrow, appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the march of humanitarian action, expressing thanks to the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) for its development efforts that serve her country. This came upon her inauguration of two wells opened by WAMY in the villages of Nikkenidoy-Moyavola, 100 km far away from the capital Banjul. The event was attended by the governor, notables and scholars of the region as well as a number of the people of the two villages who expressed overwhelming joy to have this dream achieved. WAMY continues drilling wells for potable water in many African countries, representing one of the most important programs designed to provide humanitarian service for African societies.
