IsDB President receives Uzbekistan's Ambassador

The President of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Dr. Bandar Hajjar received here yesterday Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulugbek Maksudov.
During the meeting, they discussed ongoing preparations for holding the next annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank in Uzbekistan, the level of coordination between technical teams between the two sides, and projects being implemented by the Bank in Uzbekistan such as the road linking Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the Bank's support for Imam Bukhari Center as a scientific and cultural beacon.
It is noteworthy that the Bank has approved so far US $ 2,397.5 million to support comprehensive and sustainable economic development in Uzbekistan.
