The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced today that 12 projects were selected to participate for development at the Red Sea Lodge 2021. It said that six projects are from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while the other projects are from Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait and Lebanon. Every project includes a director, producer and author. Female participants will be directing half of the projects and producing three of them. The selected teams will participate in four virtual workshops and a fifth one to be held in Jeddah during the next session of the Red Sea International Film Festival, where each team will present its project to film industry professionals from all over the world. An independent jury will select two projects to win the Red Sea Lodge Award. The two award films will receive a production grant and an opportunity to world premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival 2022.
