MRDA Receives ISO 37120 Platinum Certification from WCCD

Region Development Authority (MRDA) has been awarded the World Council on City Data (WCCD) ISO 37120 Platinum Certification, the highest international certification granted in recognition of outstanding progress and achievement in sustainable development and quality of life indicators.
With this certificate granted in March, Madinah has succeeded in securing its place among global cities.
Meeting all the 'WCCD's sustainable cities and communities standardized indicators, Madinah Local Urban Observatory has been granted the ISO 37120 Platinum Certification in recognition of progress achieved in sustainable economic, health and urban development.
Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Deputy Governor of Madinah Region has received the certificate during a virtual award ceremony attended by WCCD President and CEO Patricia McCarney.
