The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned, in strong terms, in a statement today, the terrorist Houthi militia's launching of a number of bomb-laden UAVs toward civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen praised the vigilance and capabilities of the Royal Saudi Air Defense which intercepted the Houthi attacks before reaching their goals. He reiterated the OIC's support for all measures taken by the Coalition Forces to deal with the practices of the terrorist Houthi militia to protect civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules. He pointed out that the acts of the hostile escalation and flagrant defiance by that militia are considered war crimes. Dr. Al-Othaimeen affirmed the OIC's stand and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in facing the terrorist crimes committed by that terrorist militia, supporting all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
