Shura Council Speaker Meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia

Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh received here today Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Berik Aryn.
The Shura Council Speaker briefed the Ambassador on the mechanism of the Shura Council's work and its legislative and oversight role.
For his part, the Ambassador conveyed the congratulations of Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev to the Speaker of the Shura Council, on the occasion of the issuance of the royal order to reconstitute the Shura Council under his presidency.
The two sides agreed on the importance of strengthening the role of the joint parliamentary friendship committees between the Shura Council and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
