The delegation of Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) headed by Ambassador Dr. Yosef bin Trad Al-Saadoun, the General Coordinator of GCC Negotiations, Undersecretary of Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry for Economic and Cultural Affairs held here today a meeting with an Indian delegation headed by Sastri, the Undersecretary of Trade and Industry Ministry. During the meeting, they prepared for the first round of negotiations regarding the agreement on setting up a free trade zone between the two sides. The GCC delegation also met here today with India's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs I. Ahmed. Later today, Saudi Ambassador to India Salih bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi held a dinner party in honor of the delegation. The party was attended by a number of Indian officials and GCC ambassadors accredited to India.
