France will reply positively to requests it expects soon from Yasser Arafat's next-of-kin for medical records documenting the cause of the Palestinian leader's death, the Defence Ministry said on Thursday. Arafat's wife Suha, daughter Zahwa and nephew Nasser al-Kidwa would be authorised by French privacy laws to request the records, ministry spokesman Jean-Francois Bureau said. The 75-year-old leader died in a military hospital outside Paris last week, but doctors have refused to release his medical records because of French privacy laws.
