Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah, has announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar have agreed to open airspace, land and sea borders starting from Monday evening. He pointed out that the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has made two phone calls to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. He added that during the calls, everyone was keen on unity, which will be crowned by signing Al-Ula declaration to mark a new page in fraternal relations. He also noted that the agreement of opening airspace, land, and sea borders was based on the proposal of the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister expressed his profound thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for the great interest they attach to the success of the GCC summit. He also expressed his confidence in the keenness of the leaders of the GCC states and the Arab Republic of Egypt that this summit be a reconciliation summit that strengthens cohesion and the march of solidarity.
