Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi has held a virtual meeting with the Italian Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Nunzia Catalfo, to discuss submitting the agenda of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20 Summit to the Republic of Italy, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Labor Affairs and Chairman of the Employment Working Group, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani. During the meeting, Eng. Al-Rajhi affirms the Kingdom's full readiness to support Italy to ensure a smooth transition that guarantees Italy's G20 Presidency's success for 2021. For her part, Minister Catalfo thanked Eng. Al-Rajhi, and praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during its presidency of the G20 in light of the difficult circumstances due to the spread of the COVID-19. The two Ministers agreed that the G20 should continue its work to protect workers from the pandemic implications and cooperate in adopting a joint strategy to provide new jobs, equal wages between women and men, and enhance social protection for all.
