On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, patronized today the annual horse race ceremony on the two cups of HRH Crown Prince, for both categories of locally-bred and imported horses. Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Al-Janadriyah, the Governor of Riyadh region was received by Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah, President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation; Prince Abdullah bin Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mohammed bin Sultan bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz and Secretary General of the Equestrian Authority, Adel Al-Mazroai. After that, the royal anthem was played, then the 10th round of the race of the 1st category of locally-bred horses began on the Cup of HRH the Crown Prince, with a prize of (900,000 riyals) for the winner of first place. Then, the 11th round of the race of the 1st category of imported horses began on the cup of HRH the Crown Prince, with a prize of (900,000 riyals) for the winner of the first place. In a press statement, the Governor of Riyadh region, congratulated the winners and their achievements regarding winning the Cup of HRH the Crown Prince, commending the support and interest being accorded to this sport by the prudent leadership with its support for the global standards in the Saudi Cup. He also extended thanks to Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal for high level organization that highlighted the competition today as a recorded achievement.
