The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of thanks to U.S. President George W. Bush in response to a cable of congratulations President Bush has sent to him in his own name and on behalf of the people of the United States of America on the occasion of the blessed Eid Alfitr. In his cable, King Fahd also expressed pleasure of the continuation of consultations between the two sides for the benefit and good of the two countries and peoples. On his part, Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, sent a similar cable to President George Bush in reply to the cable of congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid Alfitr he received from the U.S. president earlier today.
