From the vicinity of the House of God in Muslim's most sacred place of Makkah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, congratulated Saudi citizens and all Muslims on the advent of the blessed Eid Alfitr. In an address read on their behalf by Dr. Fuad bin Abdulsalam Alfarsi, the Minister of Culture and Information, on Saudi Radio and Television, the monarch and crown prince congratulated worshippers on successfully fasting the holy month of Ramadan, wishing them complete acceptance and appease of Almighty Allah. They reminded Muslims of the lessons of unity and social solidarity derived from fasting, worshipping and charity according to a strict system of Ramadan.
