Nokia Corp., the world's largest mobile phone maker, plans to shut down its Florida phone refurbishing plant by September 2005 and cut 400 jobs. The Finnish company told workers of the plans on Monday and layoffs will begin in February. Nokia opened the 60,000-square-foot plant in Melbourne in 1998, but officials said there weren't enough phones coming in for repairs.
