The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its support for the measures taken by Morocco to secure freedom of civil and commercial movement in the buffer zone of Guerguerat, Western Sahara. The General Secretariat condemned any threat to traffic in that region linking Morocco and Mauritania, calling for de-escalation and compliance with international legitimacy decisions.
