The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received at his office at Alsafa palace in Makkah today visiting King Abdullah II of Jordan and his accompanying delegation who arrived in Jeddah earlier today to perform Umrah (minor pilgrimage) at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. King Fahd welcomed the Jordanian King and wished him good stay in his second country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On his part, King Abdullah II thanked King Fahd for his warm welcome and generous hospitality, wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia every progress and prosperity. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. The audience was attended by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Chief of General Intelligence; senior protocol officials, and ministers. On the Jordanian side, the audience was attended by Prince Ali bin Alhussein; Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed; Prince Asim bin Naif ; Faisal Alfayez, the Prime Minister; senior protocol officials and Jordanian ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Quftan Al-Majali.
