British Prime Minister Tony Blair extended his "deepest sympathy" Friday to the families of three British soldiers killed in a suicide attack in Iraq, but reiterated the international community must continue to support a transition to democracy in the country. He said Iraq was changing for the better and that "we have got to move on now." Speaking after a breakfast meeting with Iraq's interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi at a Brussels hotel, Blair said British and other coalition troops were doing a job "of crucial importance to making sure democratic elections can go ahead in Iraq" in January.
